Position Overview:

We are seeking a Domestic Operations Manager with freight forwarding experience with air import/exports and domestic freight.

The Operations Manager will report to the General Manager and will oversee the Domestic Operations and Dispatch teams.

• Develop and execute the station operations strategy.
• Ensure processes and metrics are in place to ensure growth, service, and profitability goals are accomplished.
• Manage and communicate with carriers and customers.
• Ensure providers meet and adhere to the scope of SLA (Service Logistics Agreement) and agreed terms of service.
• Negotiate carrier agreements.
• Track team KPIs.
• Coach and mentor team in a broad global environment.
• Support key account operations requirements and insure service execution and reliability.

Skills We Hope to See:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7-10 years of domestic and air freight forwarding experience preferred. 
• P&L experience strongly preferred.
• 1-3 years of people management of an operations team.
• Procurement skills; Operational and P&L management of global products and services in a high-performance organization.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
