Assist the CHB Solutions Manager by partnering with assigned clients to identify opportunities for improvement and work with the Solutions Manager to execute those opportunities.
Assist the CHB Solutions Manager with continuous improvement objectives as needed for best client experience (Example: streamline forwarder pre-alert processes, minimize container detention/demurrage for broker managed deliveries, identify vendor/shipper documentation issues, etc)
Responsible for the SFTP document archive process including coordination with the client
Assist the CHB Solutions Manager with client onboarding as directed
Assist the Solutions Manager in client quarterly (QBR) meeting preparations and presentations.
Collaborate with the Import Account Managers to ensure tasks such as inbound shipment tracking, entry tracking and client reporting is maintained and assist with these tasks as needed to ensure no support disruptions to the client
Assist the Solutions Manager with any other import/reporting related responsibilities that may be required to fully support clients
Requirements:
5+ years industry experience in Customs Brokerage Operations and Trade Compliance.
Customs Broker’s license preferred but not required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft tools especially Excel, Teams, One Drive and Powerpoint
Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment.
