The Senior Sales Business Development role focuses on growing and maintaining business with Commercial
Customers within Americas Region.
Responsibilities:
Makes presentations to customers to stimulate interest and win them as long term partners for our company
Develop domestic/international commercial accounts to move their business.
Provides solutions customers which includes sea, air and land transports. Offers special and tailor made solutions.
Develops new markets through research, cold calls and fares to ensure growth and profit
Maintains relationships with customers and internal employees to stay informed on the latest news and destinations that may be of importance in the future.
Communicates regularly with Operations and other departments at all locations.
Prepares all necessary paperwork including Expense and Sales Reports in a timely manner.
Coordination of special projects as defined by director.
Requirements:
5+ years sales experience within the transportation field, or equivalent years of military logistics experience.
Excellent customer relations skills which have the customers’ needs in focus
Experience of planning, prioritising, and organising the work responsible. Act as an entrepreneur when it comes to financial decisions, ensuring the effective use of resources.
