Job Description
Coordinate Exports to International Trade Shows.
Coordinate Imports to Domestic Trade Shows.
Work with agents and show organizers on show transports.
Stay up to date on current regulations and show logistics.
Aid in creating a comfortable, open and honest work environment for the group.
Give input on the Trade Show Divisions Social Media Program inside and outside
of the company.
Continuously evaluate the processes with the Trade Show Division and work with
the team to streamline and improve the procedures.
Assist with sales and marketing by:
Traveling to shows to meet clients and assist with freight.
Visiting customers and potential customers.
Maintain data base of clients, shipments, manifests, freight details.
Assist Trade Show Team in the following capacities:
Putting together show binders and exhibitor packets for shows (includes
making manifests, pre-filling out disposal forms, obtaining and maintaining
contact information forms, etc.).
Making shipping instruction manuals and related forms for exhibitors.
Ordering trade show materials.
Assist with Imports and Exports by making phone calls as necessary,
putting together quotes, maintaining databases and entering in information
as needed.
Support personnel will also be trained in:
Air and Ocean Export
Air and Ocean Import
Possible travel to shows to meet clients and assist with freight.
Possible Haz Mat Certification as well as other training modules.
Person must be very detail oriented, professional, enthusiastic and have good
people and phone skills. Problem-solving and common sense are extremely
important. Must be willing to see a job from start to finish, as well as possess
Marketing and Sales skills. Knowledge of Cargowise a plus, MS Word and
Excel a must.
