Track shipments via carrier websites and other resources. Address delays and challenges to import process. Coordinate final delivery to customer with carriers. Update all relevant information and dates in operating system.
Requirements:
Requires excellent customer service and strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and address concerns/delays
Basic understanding of import regulations and entry requirements. Understanding of international cargo movement: air, ocean, rail, truck
Knowledge of Microsoft office suite. Basic working knowledge of excel.
Desk management – organization & management of emails.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
