Works closely with the Department Manager to provide Sales Leads to Key Sellers, Field Sales, Branch Managers, Regional VPs that have potential to become successful customers.
Knowledge in databases and research that provide potential leads for the company network.
Supports Projects Manager in developing and providing current market research for any Program/Project.
Continuous completion of quoting and bids to help support various RFQ’s
Requirements:
Ability to bring project to successful completion
Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.
Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience working with deadlines
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Quoting oversized, out of gauge, and special equipment
Throughout understanding of how to book charters, breakbulk, oversized shipments
Reacts to project and shipment adjustments and alterations promptly, and efficiently.
Minimum 5 to 7 years project coordination/freight forwarding experience
Bachelors or Masters Degree required in Business Administration, Project Management, or related fields.
Ability to effectively present information to top management.
Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
