This position serves as the primary point of contact for customers to help them navigate the
process of filing a claim for loss or damage to a shipment. They will be responsible for managing the communication between the client, our insurance partners and vendors. This role will be based out of the corporate office in Coppell, TX.
Review claims forms and documents for accuracy and completion and obtain missing information as necessary.
Determine claims coverage by examining company records.
Evaluate and process claims and make recommendations for resolution.
Handle customer service inquiries and problems via the telephone and e-mail in accordance with the Organization’s service standards.
Responsible for calculating claims amounts and submitting claims for payment.
Subrogation claim filing with carriers and cartage agents
Rigorously maintain accurate record keeping and reporting
