This position would be hybrid, 3 days in office and 2 days working from home. The ideal candidate for this role must have Accounts Payable experience within the logistics or freight forwarding industry and have experience with international and domestic shipment billing and accounts receivable. This position would require someone who is diligent and determined to identify inaccuracies and keep a clean aging report.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and send to customers
• Update customers on balance updates
• Ensure all aspects of the invoice are accurate
• Update and maintain customer records in the system
• Communicate with internal team members and externally with customers

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience with Accounts Payable international shipments and/or domestic logistics within a freight forwarding company or logistics company
• Ability to research and identify inaccuracies or missing documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt to and adopt new processes and changes
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and determination to track down and resolve errors
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Cargowise experience is a plus!
