Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate air and ocean shipments from beginning to end
• Consistent updating of status of client’s shipments.
• Working with clients, carriers, and warehouses to resolve issues with shipments
• Ensuring timely updates or shipment details and updating system timely to meet deadlines
• Booking freight with Steamship Lines
• Proper and timely invoicing of clients
• Ensuring on time delivery of cargo
• Checking for delivery to foreign entity
• Sound knowledge of export regulations and Harmonized Tariff Schedule B.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a Ocean and/or Air Export operations within a freight forwarding role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)
• Excellent communications skills, verbal and non-verbal
