This role is a player/coach leadership role. Responsibilities include prospecting and building new business opportunities while also managing a team of Sales Representatives. This role is with a leading Freight Forwarding company and they are looking for a strong Logistics Sales professional to make an impact and help them grow!
Responsibilities:
Build relationships with new and existing clients
Identify client Logistics needs and educate on service offerings that are beneficial
Manage client records and notes in the system
Communicate closely with internal and external teams
Manage a team of Sales Representatives
Assist with problem resolution and escalations as needed
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding
3+ years of International Freight Sales experience including Air, Ocean, Import, Export, Domestic, Customs, and/or Warehousing
Strong leadership skills
Expert at building a pipeline of new business, building relationships, negotiating, and maintaining excellent customer service
