Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Generate annual revenue through effective sales strategies
- Conduct in-person and virtual sales meetings, negotiating and preparing sales quotes and proposals
- Develop sales leads and maintain active contacts through both phone and in-person interactions
- Expand business in the region by growing the existing customer base and implementing communication strategies
- Oversee sales operations for the office, including management of inside sales representatives and account optimization plans
- 3+ years of outside Sales/Business Development experience in Freight Forwarding
- 2+ years of experience in a Sales Supervisor or Manager-level role
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven success in Sales in the freight forwarding industry
- Must be willing to travel within the Midwest region 2-3 weeks per month
- Must currently live in Illinois
