Establishes, organizes and maintains warehouse area for shipping, receiving and staging of equipment/product per applicable policies and procedures, both internal and client-established
Orders, fulfillment, inbound and outbound are processed per applicable policies and procedures;
Completes necessary paperwork procedures associated with daily activities;
Ensures all units have their original barcodes and that barcode label is accurate and readable;
Management and completion of special warehouse projects;
Conducting weekly/quarterly/yearly cycle counts;
Full understanding of company systems (i.e. Creating and processing a shipment, Inventory Management System, Dock Processing Utility, Warehouse Management System, etc.);
Shipment entry and booking;
Coordination of dock schedule with local agents and carriers;
Facility cleanliness and maintenance;
Work log documentation for billing of added work preformed;
Managing and facilitating the day to day operations of the warehouse and associated areas;
Training and supervision of warehouse employees.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED; Mechanical training desirable;
Three (3) to five (5) years of applicable or equivalent experience in related field.
Ability to acquire TSA certification (required);
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
Strong understanding of and inclination toward customer service;
Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences;
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with both customers and associates; and,
Ability to work independently with minimal or sporadic direct supervision.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
