Job Description

 

Responsibilities:

  • Establishes, organizes and maintains warehouse area for shipping, receiving and staging of equipment/product per applicable policies and procedures, both internal and client-established
  • Orders, fulfillment, inbound and outbound are processed per applicable policies and procedures;
  • Completes necessary paperwork procedures associated with daily activities;
  • Ensures all units have their original barcodes and that barcode label is accurate and readable;
  • Management and completion of special warehouse projects;
  • Conducting weekly/quarterly/yearly cycle counts;
  • Full understanding of company systems (i.e. Creating and processing a shipment, Inventory Management System, Dock Processing Utility, Warehouse Management System, etc.);
  • Shipment entry and booking;
  • Coordination of dock schedule with local agents and carriers;
  • Facility cleanliness and maintenance;
  • Work log documentation for billing of added work preformed;
  • Managing and facilitating the day to day operations of the warehouse and associated areas;
  • Training and supervision of warehouse employees.


 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED; Mechanical training desirable;
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of applicable or equivalent experience in related field.
  • Ability to acquire TSA certification (required);
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Strong understanding of and inclination toward customer service;
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences;
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with both customers and associates; and,
  • Ability to work independently with minimal or sporadic direct supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
