Liaison for dispatch department with all departments, all outside full truckload and less- than truckload carriers, receiving warehouses, and direct shipment customers.
Customer service for all vendors (internal & external) and answering questions on behalf of the dispatch department, for these customers.
Required to make basic decisions based on Best Practices, and Costing models

Qualifications:
1+ years of freight forwarding experience in dispatch/logistics.
Knowledge of and familiarity with DOT regulations, a plus.
High school diploma.
Knowledge of geographical area to facilitate efficient routing.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
Knowledge of loading and unloading containers.
Must have a good computer data entry skill. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Ability to prioritize and multi-task, take initiative and achieve results
Ability to work under pressure and time management.
