Responsibilities
- Work alongside our experienced Director of Sales, who has 30+ years of marketing experience in the freight forwarding industry
- Learn all aspects of freight forwarding sales: the art of making a perfect cold call, closing an amazing deal, creating sales leads, quoting clients, coordinating shipments, freight forwarding operations, and more. Gain the tools necessary for a rewarding and life-long career in international logistics
- Network with large-scale corporations from various industries and learn their logistics + supply chain needs from the inside out
- Master freight forwarding operations from A-Z (Air/ Ocean Import, Air/ Ocean Export, Accounting, and Administrative tasks)
- 1+ years of freight forwarding or marketing experience preferred, but not required
- Be passionate and interested in the freight forwarding + logistics industries
- Have interest for all types of Marketing + open to learning more
- Have strong computer skills - with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Linked-In etc
- Possess excellent organizational, administrative and communication skills
- Be comfortable with learning and performing Marketing related tasks (ie. Making cold calls, corresponding with clients, visiting clients etc.)
- Want to build a rewarding lifelong business career
